My account is locked. How do I unlock it?

The account IP-lock feature provides additional security by allowing access only from the IP address to which the account was locked.

When should I use IP lock?

We recommend using this feature only if:

• you have a static public IP address;
• your IP address does not change periodically;
• you understand how the feature works and how to recover access if necessary.

If you use a dynamic IP address and it changes, a locked account may no longer allow you to log in through either the website or the game.

How to unlock the account

Manual administrator intervention is not required. Use the Forgotten Password procedure.

1. Open the Forgotten Password page.
2. Start the account-recovery procedure.
3. Check the e-mail address registered to the account.
4. Open the confirmation link sent by EVOWOW.
5. After successful confirmation, the password is changed and the account IP lock is removed.

After recovering access, enable IP lock again only if you are sure that you have a suitable static IP address.

Important: The confirmation is sent only to the e-mail address associated with the account. Keep that e-mail account active and secure.
