Main Objective
- The battleground is played in two rounds, each lasting up to 10 minutes.
- Each team can have up to 15 players.
- In the first round, one team attacks while the other defends.
- In the second round, the teams switch roles.
- The attacking team's objective is to break through the final gate and reach the Relic of the Titans.
- The defenders must prevent this from happening.
When Attacking
- Move together with the Demolishers and protect them from enemy players.
- Capturing the first two graveyards is particularly useful because it gives better access to the Workshop areas and additional vehicles.
- Do not become distracted by capturing additional graveyards if doing so pulls the team away from the vehicles and the main objective.
- Use bombs to help the Demolishers destroy the gates.
- Players supporting the vehicles should use crowd control and slowing abilities to disrupt the defenders.
When Defending
- Your main priority is the Demolishers. Destroy them as quickly as possible.
- After the vehicles have been stopped, you can focus on the enemy players.
- Area slows and crowd-control effects are especially useful for delaying the attack.
Useful Crowd-Control Abilities
Use class abilities that can slow, stop, or disrupt enemy players around the vehicles and gates. The original strategy specifically mentions examples such as:
- Mage: Frost Nova, Slow;
- Druid: Cyclone, Entangling Roots, Typhoon;
- Rogue: Fan of Knives with Crippling Poison / Deadly Brew;
- Warrior: Intimidating Shout, Piercing Howl;
- Warlock: Curse of Exhaustion, Howl of Terror, Fear, Shadowflame with Glyph of Shadowflame;
- Death Knight: Desecration, Chains of Ice;
- Priest: Psychic Scream, Mind Flay, Psychic Horror;
- Hunter: Concussive Shot;
- Paladin: Judgement of Justice;
- Shaman: Frost Shock, Earthbind Totem, Thunderstorm.
Regardless of class, the important part is to play around the main objective: the vehicles, the gates, and defending or reaching the relic.
