Common reasons
Login protection
Repeated incorrect passwords or suspicious access attempts can temporarily restrict a network.
Service abuse
Spam, automated requests, fraud, and attacks against the website or realm may result in a restriction.
Restriction evasion
Using another account or address to evade an active restriction may add another recorded strike.

Recorded strikes include every retained entry for the masked identity, including expired restrictions.
